About
Lineamenta
Tools for the art of seeing.
The word Lineamenta comes from classical Latin, referring to lines, structure, form, and defining features — the foundation of visual construction and artistic understanding.
More than 20 years ago, the founder of Renaissance Art School, Polina Bisevac, began developing a teaching methodology rooted in classical fine arts education. Through years of teaching hundreds of students, one problem became obvious: truly functional, professional-quality art tools were often overpriced, poorly designed, or simply unavailable to most artists.
Lineamenta was created as a response to that problem.
Every product is developed from real studio experience and practical educational needs — tools designed not for trends, but for serious visual work. The system combines classical artistic principles with modern manufacturing, engineering, and functional design.
From grayscale value finders and color-matching instruments to palettes, measuring tools, and studio accessories, Lineamenta products are designed to improve accuracy, train the eye, simplify workflow, and support long-term artistic growth.
